Chicken Tortilla Soup

This warm, flavorful soup is sure to cure the common cold and the common soup.  The best part is the contrast of fresh cilantro, fresh avocado, cheese, and crispy chips added at the last minute to this aromatic, spicy soup.  It’s delicioso - make extra!

My son loves this soup and it has become the recipe I use most from the Cooking With All Things Trader Joe’s. It is easy to make and delicious. I always double the recipe so we can enjoy it the next day.

My sister makes this all the time and I love it. We create a little “toppings bar” where family members can add whatever they want to their soup – tortilla strips, lime juice, cheese, sour cream, salsa, avocado (a must when I top mine!), etc. A great customizable family dinner for everyone’s own preference.
