These are fabulous! They taste fresh and delicious. My favorite is to slice beets onto a spinach salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, and pecans. These would also be perfect with skordalia.

I’m not among the “beet lovers,” but I bought these to compliment a salad recipe I got from one of the “Cooking with Trader Joe’s” books. I’ve always thought beets and feta make a great addition to a salad, but I would never know what to do with an actual beet to make it taste like the restaurants do. Thanks to this ready-made solution, all I have to do is cut up the beets into chunks to sprinkle them on my salad. However, beware of the smell: Even sealed in a bag, the beets made my refrigerator/trash can/kitchen smell like beets for the next few days. And the juice can get EVERYWHERE.

These make eating beets so easy! Since I’m the only one in our house that likes beets, I wouldn’t go to all the work just for me. But this way I still get my beets!

There’s really no excuse now not to eat your beets; Trader Joe’s has done all the messy work for you. Toss them in a salad or just toss them in your mouth. Great for the kiddos too.

Great on a salad, by themselves, or warmed with goat cheese! My year old loves them!

These are good cold or quickly warm them up and butter or goat cheese on top. Yum!

SOO good to slice up and add to a fresh salad without all the hassle of boiling the beets yourself!

I agree with all of these reviews. So convenient if you love beets but not the mess.

Highly nutritious, low-cal, ready-to-eat beets, nothing added! I eat a lot more beets thanks to these. Farmer’s market beets are great, but kind of a mess to prepare. With these, all you have to do is snip open the package (over the sink), chop them up on a good cutting board, and sprinkle them with a little Tajin seasoning, or lime juice & salt, or marinate them in your favorite vinegar and use them in salads, or toss them in a nice Moroccan stew, or put them on a flatbread pizza…I even blend a beet into my pizza sauce to sweeten and thicken it. Also good blended into hummus to give it sweetness and dazzling color.

Love, love, love these! Not too expensive. They come in a vaccuumed sealed pack. They taste super fresh and usually have a sweet taste to them. If you think you don’t like beets, try these first. They do make a huge mess when you chop them up. I cut mine on a black plastic cutting board that I have and try not to drip juice. I use them chopped up on my salads along with those AWESOME TJ’s parmesan garlic/cheese crouton things. Yum!

I keep a package in fridge at all times. It’s a bit too soft for my taste, but soooo convenient! And they are VERY sweet and nutritious.
